Junior Project Manager

Job description 
As part of its growth, RaYSun is looking for a junior Project Manager. The successful candidate, preferably with a technical and/or economic background, will be responsible for the design and management of RaYSun projects in Belgium. The Junior Project Manager will be in contact with customers, subcontractors and project partners.

Tasks 
Energy community sizing : 

• Technical analysis of production and consumption profiles of the various members involved in the energy sharing (simulation, assumptions, electricity flow). 
• Economic analysis of the viability of energy communities. 
• Maintain and develop the energy community optimization tool (Excel, Python). 
• Data analysis of consumption and production at the community level, as well as for individual members and their consumption/production tools. 

Energy community development and management : 

• Defining and implementing the appropriate commercial offer. 
• Coordinating producers and consumers within the community. 
• Operational management of the community (legal, financial, technical, and administrative aspects). 
• Facilitating communication within the community. 

Development and monitoring of production and consumption installations : 

• Coordination of different stakeholders, notably RaYSun-certified solar installers and charging station installers, and network managers. 
• Performance analysis and monitoring of installations owned by RaYSun Invest and managed by RaYSun, with the goal of ensuring optimal production. 

ERP (Odoo) implementation: 

• Developing operational processes in the ERP to improve the efficiency of the commercial offering. 
• Managing the billing processes within the communities. 

Profile of the ideal candidate
Skills :

• Technical and/or business education. 
• Professional proficiency in Dutch and English; French is a plus. 
• Basic understanding of solar energy principles and associated technologies. 
• Interest in and ability to conduct complex data analysis. 
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. 
• Proven ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively with colleagues from various backgrounds. 
• Independence in problem-solving and taking initiative. 
• Strong interest in startups, entrepreneurship, and the renewable energy sector.
